Step 1: Telephonic Round will be conducted to address your communication skills. Nothing else, not much importance will be given to this round. Just they are calling for Face to face interview.

Step2: Group Discussion will be conducted to again check your communication skills and they will test your patience. For example, KPMG group discussion is the toughest. If you didn’t utter a single word or were not up to the mark, you will be surely rejected.

Step3: Technical Round will be conducted to check out your skills in Microsoft office and they ask questions about your course. If you have chosen audit as your profile, you can be asked about Accounting standards, Standards on Auditing.  If you have chosen tax as your profile, then numerous questions can be asked about Income tax, GST, transfer Pricing, DTAA.

Step 4: The HR round will be a formal interaction with HR. He can ask general questions about your background, skills, and interests. Whether you are suitable for the job? Do you have any problem working long hours?

Step5: If you have made up to Partner’s round. The chances will be in your favor of selection but if you chose tax as your profile, you will be again grilled to the core and again Q&A session will be followed. If you don’t know about a particular question, simply say, I don’t know about this. Don’t need to portray yourself as a super genius guy.
