IFF & GSTR-1 Due dates Quarterly and Month-wise

In this article, we have provided a list of GSTR-1 due dates including any extensions and state-specific for all the months.

Every registered person other than Composition taxpayer, Nonresident taxable person, Input Service Distributor, Person deducting TDS, E-commerce operator collecting TCS is required to file GSTR-1 monthly or quarterly.

GSTR-1 is the details of outward supplies or sales made by the taxpayer during the period to business or consumers. GSTR-1 is filed on monthly basis. However, if the taxpayer has opted for the QRMP scheme, he is required to file GSTR-1 for only the last month and file an Invoice furnishing facility (IFF) for the first two months.

Taxpayers having a turnover of more than 1.5 crores are required to file GSTR-1 on monthly basis.

We have provided links to extension notifications also. GSTR-1 is quite an important return, if not filed by the supplier will lead to blockage of Input credit to the customer. The data from GSTR-1 is reflected in GSTR2A and GSTR-2B of the customer.

Normally, the last date to file is the 11th of next month. However, due to extraordinary circumstances like Covid-19, it is extended by the Ministry of Finance

GSTR-1 due dates for April 2021

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of April 2021 is 26th May 2021. The extension is because of the exponential rise in coronavirus cases in India.

GSTR-1 last date for March 2021

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of March 2021 is 11th April 2021.

GSTR-1 last date for February 2021

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of February 2021 is 11th March 2021.

GSTR-1 last date for January 2021

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of January 2021 is 11th February 2021.

GSTR-1 last date for December 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of December 2020 is 11th January 2021

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of November 2020 is 11th December 2020.

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of July 2020 is 11th August 2020.

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of June 2020 is 11th July 2020.

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of May 2020 is 30th June 2020.

GSTR-1 due date for April 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of April 2020 is 30th June 2020.

GSTR-1 due date for March 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of March 2020 is 30th June 2020.

GSTR-1 due date for February 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of February 2020 is 11th March 2020 and for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh it is 24th March 2020.

GSTR-1 due date for January 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the month of January 2020 is 11th February 2020 and for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh it is 24th March 2020.

Invoice Furnishing Facility(IFF)in QRMP scheme & GSTR-1 due dates quarterly

Normally, the last date to file GSTR-1 for a quarter is the 31st of the next month when the quarter ends. And in the case of the Invoice Furnishing facility (IFF) in the QRMP scheme, it is the 13th of next month.

IFF for the month of April 2021

The last date for the Invoice Furnishing Facility is 28th May 2021 due to the rise in coronavirus.

Quarterly GSTR-1 for the month of March 2021

The last date for Quarterly GSTR-1 for March 2021 is 13th April 2021.

IFF for the month of February 2021

The last date for the Invoice Furnishing Facility for February 2021 is 13th March  2021.

IFF for the month of January 2021

The last date for the Invoice Furnishing Facility for January 2021is 13th February 2021.

For the Quarter October 2020 to December 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the quarter of Financial year 20-21 is 13th January 2021.

For the Quarter July 2020 to September 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the quarter of Financial year 20-21 is 31st October 2020.

For the Quarter of April 2020 to June 2020

The last date to file GSTR-1 for the quarter of Financial year 20-21 is 31st July 2020.
